This is the new official Type Choice thread. This is where potential applicants for gym leader and Elite Four positions will post their primary, secondary, and tertiary choices for type choice. The following is the format you must use for replies to this thread:
Trainer: (your actual trainer character name) FL User: (your forum username) Primary: Secondary: Tertiary: Reason For Choice: (explain briefly about why you made these choices)
Please keep in mind that this thread essentially replaces the application many of you filled out on Sal's Google form, so you MUST complete a post in this thread to be considered for a gym leader position.

Trainer: Alaria Nerano FL User: Alaria Nerano Primary: Psychic Secondary: Ghost Tertiary: Dark Reason For Choice: Psychic has essentially been my favourite and most used type since Gen. 1. While my metagame experience hasn't exactly used too much in the way of Psychic types, I've been getting plenty of practice in and I look forward to any potential challengers. ^^

Trainer: Suiseiseki FL User: Suiseiseki Primary: Flying Secondary:Rock Tertiary: Electric Reason For Choice: Flying type is one of the types I take preference in the game. I already know how flying types perform in the meta game and know how take advantage of certain Pokémon to cover their weaknesses. I already have my flying team built and it has performed really well.

Trainer: Kray FL User: Dama Primary: Steel Secondary: Rock Tertiary: Dark Reason For Choice: I've got experience at local Long Island tournaments as the runner up both times while using the Steel typing. Jirachi/Bisharp is a powerful combination I tend to use as Jirachi can use all 3 elemental punches to take out a variety of types, while Bisharp knows both Night Slash and Stone Edge to deal with Jirachi's weaknesses, respectfully Ghost and Fire type pokemon. The Rock typing allows for many different pokemon, such as Tyranitar, Aerodactyl, and Omastar. Lastly, the Dark typing allows me to combine the key features of the above pokemon, such as Bisharp and Tyranitar.
Thanks in advance!

Trainer: (Jabroni) FL User: (slowjabroni) Primary: Electric Secondary: Steel Tertiary: Water Reason For Choice: (I've always wanted to be a gym leader as all everyone else wanted and especially after I had the chance to total LT. Surge and I had also made a kinda fanfic of myself and some other humans during the great pokemon war...this is just so fucking cool. I would hate to have passed this up so I'm just trying my luck! I would also just love to be a trainer up against the leaders. Either way this is a cool hobby I wanna take up)

Trainer: Pastor John FL User: Sal Primary: Water Secondary: Steel Tertiary: Fighting Reason For Choice: Water has a plethora of pokemon to choose from offering me as many options as I want. It also only has two weaknesses, which is pretty easy to cover between all the types you get. Diving was my favorite part of R/S/E, so picking water was mad easy. Steel comes next simply because Jirachi is my favorite and I WILL find a way to make it work if I don't get water. Fighting because it's new and I haven't done it. Fuck bug. I'm hoping to use it if I get the steel gym.

Jirachi is great! Iron head+Three Elemental punches EV'd in attack, it's a tank. I'm hoping to use it if I get the steel gym. I would build my steel team without Jirachi probably because I prefer VGC 2012 rule set, but that is just my preference.

Let's try and keep the chit-chat to a minimum in this thread to avoid clutter.
